For those who don’t know: field corn – that’s what they grind up and they feed to the animals, sweet corn – that’s what we eat. Once they explained it to me, it’s very easy to remember because field corn is grown in a field, whereas sweet corn is grown in a field.
Greg Warren, Comedian
Opening day for the Seville Farm Market is Saturday, May 29, 2021 from 9am until 12pm. The Seville Farm Market is a producers-only market, featuring vendors, like The Wild Leek, who produce their own goods (rather than vendors who are wholesalers). The Seville Farm Market offers fresh Northeast Ohio produce and local craftsmanship in the picturesque Maria Stanhope Park, 73 West Main Street in Seville, every Saturday May 29 through September 25, 2021.
For those planning to honor the veterans at Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery this Memorial Day Weekend, the Seville Farm Market is located less than 3 and 1/2 miles from the cemetery, only a 5 minute driving distance. Feel free to visit The Wild Leek and the other wonderful vendors on Saturday morning!
