Sixth Annual Ramp Up Peninsula Festival

Eat leeks in March and wild garlic in May, and all year after physicians may play.

Spring has finally arrived in Northeast Ohio and wild leeks briefly return to grace our region. Come celebrate the short season of the pretty and pungent allium tricoccum at the Sixth Annual Ramp Up Peninsula Festival on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Located in the middle of the scenic Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Ramp Up Peninsula is a free festival (paid parking) dedicated to the delectable spring delicacy, ramps (wild leeks). Food trucks featuring ramp treats, art vendors, Bloody Stinkin’ Marys, live music and guided plant identification walks are just some highlights of this year’s Ramp Up Peninsula. The Wild Leek will provide sustainable-foraged ramps for purchase, along with other Wild Leek goodies, from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.

We look forward to meeting all those who celebrate spring’s stinky treasure, our beloved wild leek!
