TO SATCH
Sometimes I feel like I will never stop
Just go on forever
Till one fine mornin
I’m gonna reach up and grab me a handfulla stars
Swing out my long lean leg
And whip three hot strikes burnin down the heavens
And look over at God and say
How about that!

Tom Hamilton’s voice once again rings through our Northeast Ohio summer evenings! Our boys of summer inaugurated the 2020 season with a pitching feat: six consecutive starts by six different pitchers who went for at least six innings and allowed no more than two runs. That streak ended with a bang when Shane Bieber returned to the mound to pitch eight scoreless innings in Minnesota on July 30.
The Cleveland Indians accomplished this feat only one other season: 1948. The same season that a scorching hot Satchel Paige helped to bring home Northeast Ohio’s most recent World Series victory.

Parmesan Zucchini Fries
- Wash and trim 1 large or 2 small zucchini.
- Cut into snack-sized pieces (roughly the size of steak or jojo French fries).
- In large bowl, toss zucchini in 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
- Season to taste with Ravine’s Edge Ramp Salt (or garlic salt), dried Italian seasoning and black pepper.
- Add grated parmesan cheese to taste, note that the cheese will increase the saltiness of the final dish.
- Arrange so that the zucchini are not touching on a baking sheet.
- Bake in an oven set to 375 degrees for 25 minutes.
- Enjoy!
