I am from Chesapeake, West Virginia, a small town just outside Charleston, that should explain the accent…born and raised in West Virginia, didn’t realize my accent was as bad as it was until I started doing comedy. Started hitting the road, going to other towns where they don’t talk like I do.
People would say, “Hey, you’ve got an accent.”
I’m kinda standoffish sometimes, so I would be like, “So do you – that’s how they work.”

While West Virginia arguably hosts more ramp festivals than any where else in the world, our favorite way to celebrate ramp season is with Northeast Ohio’s own annual Ramp Up Peninsula! As we navigate the continuing pandemic, this year’s Ramp Up Peninsula will look a little different: our favorite little stinkers will be available in a grab & go, socially distanced format (please observe Ohio’s mask mandate).
The Wild Leek looks forward to seeing you on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 11 am – 4 pm for the 2021 Ramp Grab & Go Days! The Wild Leek will be offering fresh ramps for $16 per pound, ramp marmalade, ramp powder, ramp salt, ramped up ranch, ramped up Italian, The Wild Leek blend, and ramped up Greek.
Come on down, we would love to see you!
